Welcome to the web site of the Sacandaga Protection Committee.  Formed in 2009 in response to proposed changes to the 80 year old Sacandaga Lake permit system, the SPC's mission is to protect the environmental, economic and legal interests of the entire lake community.  Although the permit system rule changes have been put on hold, the SPC continues to support the interests of the lake community.  The SPC is active in several onging issues with potential impact to the lake community.

The SPC is a non-profit organization and we rely on donations from the lake community to fund this important effort.  Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or comments.
